A Wellsboro man is facing charges stemming from an alleged threat he made to a neighbor during an argument on Sunday, April 9th. Police in Wellsboro allege 37-year-old Jeremy A. Morris Run Woman Faces Theft Charges

A Morris Run woman is facing numerous theft charges after police say she used stolen checks and ATM cards last October. Police allege 20-year-old Madeline Marie Witucki took blank checks from an unnamed victim and stole more than $465.39 from the victim. Police also allege Witucki stole her friends’ ATM cards and used the stolen cards. The incidents occurred between October 9th and 10th. Police did not name either of the victims. Man Seriously Hurt in One Vehicle Crash in Penn Township

A Montoursville man was seriously injured when his car hit a tree in Penn Township on Tuesday, May 9th. Police say 33-year-old Daniel E. Ammerman was headed east on Beaver Lake Road’s 2200 block in a 2002 Chevrolet Impala at approximately 2:08 a.m. Ammerman lost control of the car while he was driving along a left-hand curve. The car left the south side of the road before hitting a tree. The crash scene was 1,230 feet to the west of Frantz Road. Police are investigating after a rifle was recently stolen in Bloss Township. Police say the rifle was stolen sometime from Thursday, April 20th to Wednesday, May 10th. Police describe the stolen firearm as a .243 rifle with a scope, sling, and wooden stock. Police say a teen stole several items from an Eldred Township property on Monday, May 8th. The alleged theft took place at 2549 Lick Run Road at about 12:00 p.m., according to a report from the Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville. Police allege the teen stole a gas tank, two rings, and power tools.
