Two people escaped injury when their SUV rolled over in Charleston Township on Sunday, March 19th, according to the Pennsylvania State Police in Mansfield.

34-year-old David R. Rice of Binghamton, NY, was headed east on Charleston Road in a 2007 Saturn Vue at about 1:00 a.m. 33-year-old Sarah A. Arsenault, also of Binghamton, was Rice’s only passenger. Rice lost control of the SUV when he drove over an icy patch of roadway. The SUV went off the right shoulder before going down an embankment. Then, the SUV rolled over onto its right side. The area where the crash occurred was 459 feet to the east of an unnamed street.

Both Rice and Arenault were wearing their seat belts, and they were not injured. Rice was not charged with a moving violation.
